Following the release of their debut album ‘Divine Alchemy’, HAQK return with a complete re-vocal of the single ‘Escape to Peace’. Remaining on-topic with the original version, the re-vocal addresses the need to find peace of mind and personal solitude in a world that appears to be abandoning authentic spirit and individuality. The re-vocal collaborates fresh verses from NRST GRN and a brand-new verse from Nomadic Poet. Particle 2 (AKA Keith Hopewell) works with this to lay down a rich, soulful remix, that transports the listener to new realms - entitled 'The New Normal Mix'.

NRST GRN (‘nearest to the green’) partners Bam Bam and AGuevara, formally known as Bob Eskimo and J Blast from Scientists of Sound. NRST GRN is their current incarnation, partnering DJ dexter of ‘The Brotherhood’, who were label mates on Trevor Jackson’s ‘Bite It’ Records in the early 90’s. Scientists of Sound were MOBO nominees in 1996, and worked with artists such as Lisa Moorish, The RZA and Tony Nwachukwu of Attica Blues on his ‘T Plays It Cool’ project. SOS also toured with the likes of Wu Tang Clan, Busta Rhymes and Hit Squad.

BAM BAM recently formed a hiphop group called OXGN (Oxygen) alongside fellow musical cohorts Steve Austin from Uprock Recordings/Espionage Teams and Daz-I-Kue from Bugs In The Attic releasing new material in 2022/23 on their Grown Up Music imprint.

After shooting the video for ‘Escape to Peace’, Nomadic Poet originally approached his friend Bam Bam to make a remix. Upon hearing the original track, Bam Bam was more interested in vocaling the original beat.
Working beside his rhyming partner AGuevara a complete re-vocal was recorded with Nomadic Poet. As a producer that has always worked organically, and sometimes at a tangent, Particle 2 felt there was opportunity to produce a remix, with its new vocals, this forms the second track to the E.P.
